Ilove the tutorial, I just wish DA wasmore prompt in addressing urgent situations. Took three months+ and a call to the headuarters to get them to ban several deviants who left pages and pages of harrassment on my userpage.

Yeah... I reported a spammer and it took them two weeks to get back to me, and on top of that when I sent links to the conversations they told me not to send screencaps. Then when I told them they must have had me confused with someone else, that I sent them deviantart links that I got from clicking on the time of the comments, they said there was no evidence of a spammer and I should just block the person who had left 20 messages on my group in a row demanding we have more porn. Thanks DA... though I'm sure it was more just THAT person who was incompetent.

This tutorial should probably also explain that checking out the FAQ first would be a good idea, since before they even look at your problem they tell you to read the FAQ.

Probably yes.
Sometimes admins think that blocking a spammer is the best option If you don't want to be bothered but...Think on this, If they don't stop that spammer nobody will do it and new deviants, sometimes, doesn't know how to block a person.

Last time I contacted the help desk It was because of a troll. They answered me after 2 days and they banned that person. I felt really happy that happened because It demonstrated they were working correctly.

This person had spammed other groups too. If it was just my page I would have blocked them, but it was a group I was in, and I could't block them. I was just amazed that it took so long, and then I felt like they didn't even read my complaint!

Though in the past they were really helpful about bugs and stuff. Just not helpful with spammers in my case, haha.

I always ask questions in the chatroom, and then try the help desk when they tell me to, or when they can't answer it.

My questions are usually not important, and sometimes I just want to make sure that something's only temporary, so I don't want to bug the help desk unless it's actually something important. ^_^ (and the help desk is slooow... so I like talking to a real person who'll answer me within seconds)
